Julie joined Rebekah Tolin’s practice in July, 2021 and is with us Wednesdays and Saturdays. Julie has over 25 years of experience working with children as a pediatric OT. She has extensive experience with sensory processing, visual-motor skills, visual-perceptual skills, fine and gross motor development, handwriting, self-help skills, feeding, attention and organization. She has worked with children with various diagnoses, including autism, Down Syndrome and drug exposure. Throughout Julie’s career, she has provided family-centered treatment in clinics, homes, daycares, and schools. Previously, Julie worked at Simi Valley Hospital – Child Development Center, where she honed her skills treating the whole child while collaborating with therapists from different disciplines. Julie received her Occupational Therapy degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Southern California in 1996. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
